She has over 40 years of experience spanning public and private sectors, in the UK and internationally, including in the s as a member of the Council of Economic Advisers, HM Treasury advising on business, growth and productivity issues and a Minister in the Cabinet Office and Business and International Development Departments. He previously chaired both an opera company and a steam museum and has served on the boards of both DCMS and the Department for Education.
